John Constantine
About John
John Constantine first fell in love with songwriting at the age of seven listening to Simon & Garfunkel's final album "Bridge Over Troubled Water" on his mp3 player. A classically trained violinist, his songs combine soul and folk influences with classical harmonies and 60s/70s Rock instruments. Warm organs, deranged guitars and colossal choirs are the ingredients to John's signature sound that carries his moody and melancholic lyrics.

John Constantine’s debut album
“Black Bile” was released on November 17, 2023 and has since reached thousands of listeners all over the world.

John on German public radio station SWR1:
Ear to the Ground Music:
"The Paul Simon-esque guitar and harmony work [...] just feels delightful [...] I appreciate how the lyrics hold space of classic mid-20th century philosophizing. I am quite certain this song is from 2023, but there are moments in it that make me equally convinced it could have been from 1963. I adore the style and am glad to have discovered Constantine’s emerging talent."
